Serial number 5273. Production of this model was halted due to patent infringement against Smith & Wesson, inspiring the "teat fire" revolvers that did not have a completely bored through cylinder. Barrel is marked "D.MOORE.PATENT.SEPT.18.1860". Barrel and cylinder rotate to the side for extraction and loading. Attractive engraved brass parts typical of Moore's guns. Metal parts have a medium patina overall with most of the original silver finish present on brass parts, and some original blue on iron parts with some scattered light pitting. Wood grips are very good, showing average wear and use with a couple minuscule corner nicks. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
