This revolver features all steel construction with Pachmayr grips, all matte black finish, 6-round fluted cylinder, DA action with short combat hammer, 4” heavy barrel with fixed sights, and special ejector rod mechanism that precludes the necessity of moon clips. This is a very rare model of Smith & Wesson, designed to accommodate the 9mm, and was only in production for a very limited time. The gun originally featured a blued finish with walnut grips, so this gun has likely been refinished, although the markings are mostly very sharp and crisp.
