This upper was assembled by Compass Lake Engineering. The barrel is a M4 made by Lilja Precision. It has a 1:8 inch twist and is stainless steel. They have a unique heavy barrel profile, starting with 0.980 inches in diameter for the first 2.60 inches of length, then narrowing down to 0.850 inches in diameter, 0.750 inches in diameter underneath the front sight block, and 0.725 inches in diameter to the muzzle. The barrel has the KAC QD (Quick Detach) flash hider, allowing the mounting of KAC's QD sound suppressor. A carbine-length gas system is used. The gas block is a KAC Mod0 Mk12. This barrel is mated to a genuine Colt carbine flat top upper receiver. This recon clone upper like the ones built by Crane is fitted with a free-float KAC M4 Match RAS handguard system. The back-up iron sights are by KAC as well. This upper has the Harris swivel bipods attached to its rail via ARMS #32 throwlever mounts. Test fired only by Compass Lake. Like new condition.
