This is a circa 1969 re-barreled SS Weatherby 257 magnum in magnificent condition! The re-barreling work was done by renowned gunsmith Clarence Hammonds of Red Lion, Pennsylvania. Clarence’s custom barrels have won numerous competitions both nationally and internationally. The work done and this gun was done approximately 2010. The gun is both stunningly, beautiful and accurate!!  Less than 60 rounds have gone out the barre!  The 257 WM is an extremely fast and flat shooting  round!  It was Roy Weatherby’s favorite caliber!  With the custom barrel this rifle is an absolute tack driver!  2 1/2 boxes of old stock 110 gr Weatherby ammunition will be included in the sale. $2,250.  I will entertain other offers.  No trades please.
