This a a 6 shot 38 Special + P. One of the finest revolvers ever made by Colt. Beautiful deep blue and all original. Serial number 54357R. This revolver has been in my family since new. It's been carried a little as the bluing wear on the left side of the muzzle indicates. Some minor blue wear on the right side of the muzzle and a little off the leading edge of the cylinder. But as you can see 95% of the bluing remains , no rust or damaged screws. Fired less than 50 rounds it's whole life. Overall a beautiful little gun no longer made by Colt. As you may know, all the Colt revolvers have skyrocketed in price. Colt is no longer making revolvers of any kind consequently their price keeps escalating. In a couple of years this gun will be worth 1000$. The price of the Colt snake guns has gone up 4 or 5 times in the last 2 years. Selling due to age (72) and health.
