Description: Very correct Remington Model 14. Lots of original blue remains. The metal is in excellent condition with no pitting. The bore is shiny with sharp rifling. The stock is sound with no cracks although the orginal finish is thin in a few areas. This rifle comes complete with a very nice Marbles peep sight, mounted in the original factory holes. NO extra holes have been drilled in this gun. The front sight is missing its bead, a dab of red paint is in its place. The rear sight is not original, but is a very nice folding version with adjustable leaf with two different types of sighting notches. Desirable steel crescent buttplate.
