It replaced the CZ 50 and was then itself replaced by the CZ-75. As with many other small European pistols of this era when issued to military officers and police it was meant as much as a badge of office as a weapon. However this is inded a fighting handgun when used with modern hollowpoints. It is a DA/SA that comes with two 8 round, finger extendtion magazines. The sights are fixed, The finish is flat black and the grip panels are black plastic. a gap that appears in the photo at the rear of the grip is a photographic error. This .32 ACP weapon is very reliable both with the well proven Winchester Silvertip and the Remington Golden Saber. This safe and easy to shoot automatic has done good survice as the back-up pistol of police officers across the country and will do you fine service. it was surplused out of service when the CZ75 was adopted. it's magazine holds 8 rounds and an extra magazine comes with the pistol. The finish is flat black and the plaztic grip panels black.This pistol, a DA/SA and functions quite well with the very effective Winchester Silvertip cartridge. Remington Gonden Saber cartrideges show great reliablity though since this has not been around as long as the Silvertip the number of one shot stops is not as many.
