Holland & Holland Royal Self Opener, 12 bore, ejectors, circa 1959, original 2 3/4" chambers, 3 1/4 TON nitro proof, 26" fluid steel barrels choked .008 IC and .016 Light Mod., 6 lbs. 11 oz., 14 1/2" LOP to checkered butt, 1 1/2" DAC, 2 1/4" DAH, neutral cast, double triggers, round knob prince-of-wales grip, splinter fore end, hand detachable locks, cocking indicators, self opener, was purchased new in 1959 by a prominant American through Abercrombie & Fitch in New York and setup for American shooting at fast flushing birds and not European driven shooting, original leather trunk case with maker's label, charge/regulation label, and gun specification label and the following accessories: Holland snap caps, rosewood cleaning rod with attachements, leather pouch with pull-through, ebony turn screw, nickel oil bottle, ivory/bone striker container with spare fitted strikers, C&H container of gun grease, tin of Holland Nevarust oil, an envelope containing two spare main springs and fittings and four fitted spare strikers and two unfitted spare strikers, and the case key. An all original late Holland Royal self opener with about 85% original case colors, 97% original blue and wood finish.
