Overall very good, used condition, with 24” barrel, checkered stock with cheek piece, black fore arm cap and capped pistol grip. The rifle has factory mounted Lyman No. 17A front sight with inserts and Lyman No. 48 receiver peep sight. It is also fitted with factory scope mounts using the front of the receiver (the Model 54 was factory drilled and tapped only on the front receiver ring) and the rear barrel sight dove tail. A custom Picatinny rail has been added upon which is mounted a Weaver K-10 scope. This was done so no alteration of the Winchester factory mounts was necessary, as the factory mount dove tails are smaller than common contemporary rings allow for. Factory Winchester sling swivels hold a vintage sling. If you are not aware, when you click on an individual picture, there are forward and back arrows in the upper left corner.
