General Specs: Winchester, Year 1941, 20 Gauge, 7lbs, Pump Action Serial Number: 893471 We have acquired 2 really nice Pigeon Grade 20ga. Skeet guns that are the real deal and in excellent condition, along with several nice M42's. This is a rare find and these guns will not last long, so don't hesitate on these treasures. This particular gun, sn893471 built in 1941, is a highly desirable "PRE-WAR" 20ga. gun with factory 26" barrel wearing a factory solid rib, choked WS1, retaining 99% factory blue. The receiver is factory original with the stamping "SKEET" under the serial number, with 96% blue, having nice even wear in the contact areas around the trigger guard and back edge of frame, and a jeweled bolt and carrier. The factory Pigeon Grade wood is some of the nicest I have ever seen on a Model 12 Pigeon, maybe 4X, with the original 14" LOP to factory butt plate, The Winchester Model 12 Pigeon Grade is a very high grade collectible Winchester that continues to be a good solid investment grade firearm.
