This is not your normal Colt Officers Model Match. The Indiana State Police used this gun to shoot in matches all across the country. Police Agencies would travel and compete against each other in these matches to make themselves better marksmen This was not a cheap sport by any means. You will notice that this Colt was engraved and donated by Ford Dealers of Indiana in 1959. This gun also comes with an Official Indiana State Police letterhead. On the cylinder their is some finish wear on the quarter part (refer to picture). The letterhead describes the details of the revolver. This is a very unique gun that was heavily customized by Colt.
