NOW-This is an early 60's Model 29-2, with single and double action triggers as smooth as glass. It may be the best trigger I ever saw. It was a small town Arkansas policeman's carry gun, which means it picked up some holster wear but probably has not had 100 rounds fired through it. His son, from whom I got it, had some kind of coating added for rust prevention, which I haven't removed, but I see no evidence of pitting. I apologize for the grip, but I had to get batteries for my camera, made the mistake of leaving the pistol on the table and my goofy German Shepherd chewed the Pachmayrs off it. If you're like me, you'd rather have your favorite grip than their favorite grip anyway, but I lowered my original price some to make up for it. This is not a display gun, it is a carry gun and shooting gun, but if you buy it, I know you will be pleased by the lockup and especially ny the trigger. They don't make them like this anymore, and as I said, I will be pretty flexible on the price due to necessity. Be sure your dealer accepts shipments from non-FFL. If not, my dealer charges $40.
