It features a heavy 30" (1/2 octagon 1/2 round) Badger barrel, Browning rear soule sight and spirit level front sight with insert. The Badger barrel has 8-groove right hand twist riflings with a 1:18 twist rate. The rifle also comes with a nice aftermarket Baldwin Lyman-style selectable aperture eyecup. It will be shipped in the original factory rifle box with owner’s manual and factory literature. The rifle box end label matches the serial number on the rifle. Additional front sight inserts can be purchased from several suppliers. The rifle was completely disassembled, checked out and cleaned. The bore is perfect and the action shows no signs of wear. There are no scratches on the metal that I can find. The wood has an aftermarket gloss finish and a few small handling dings, but nothing to be concerned about. The original factory trigger spring was replaced with a lighter spring, resulting in a nice crisp 2lb 2oz trigger pull. Miroku only manufactured the BPC rifles for Browning from 1996 thru 1998. This rifle was manufactured in 1998. It has the redesigned extractor and crown. On a very accurate postage scale, the rifle weighs 11 lbs 10.4 oz with the sights and the eyecup installed.
