Description: Crown Grade Mark V Rifle, Weatherby's best grade rifle and available on a custom order basis only. The 26 inch barrel and has a factory floral scroll and punch dot engraving at the breech. The engraving is a 9 inch section with "WEATHERBY/.7MM WM" marked on the left side and the Southgate Ca, Made in Japan marking on the right side. The factory engraving extends to the receiver, bolt assembly end, hinged floor plate, and trigger. A raised gold Moose is also featured on the floorplate. The receiver has Mark V markings. The rifle is equipped with a ramp beaded blade front sight, adjustable folding leaf rear sight, and a Weatherby 3x to 9x scope with factory engraved mounts.. Jeweled fluted bolt and follower, sling swivel studs and serrated trigger, and checkered bolt handle. Mounted on an exhibition grade pistol grip stock with rosewood forend and grip cap, a contrasting diamond insert on the grip cap, a cheekpiece and a vented factory recoil pad. A fancy carved floral pattern is present on the forearm and grip area and a contrasting diamond pattern is featured on the sides of the forearm and right side of the buttstock. An additional diamond insert which incorporates a intials GTM marked inlay appears on the underside of the forearm.
