Description: 1970 Colt Government Model s/n 331482-C

Original and unaltered. This is one of the very last pre-MkIV Serieis '70 Colt Government Model pistols without the collet style bushing and barrel with the enlarged muzzle end.

There was a pilot series of "BB" pistols manufactured in the 33200-C serial range that consisted of 1 pistols. The "BB" pistols, however, incorporated the new style barrel and bushing, and therefore are not truly pre-MkIV Series '70 pistols.

This pistol is in excellent overall condition. It is not new condition. It shows some signs of slight wear and aging. However, it displays very well on both sides and easily rates about 97% original Colt factory blue finish. There is a small spot of corrosion on the left side, visible in the photos. The magazine with this pistol is correct and probably is original to the pistol. There are some small markings on the magazine that are visible in the photos. An excellent example of one of the last pre-MKIV Series 70 Colt Government Model pistols. One of the last old style Colt Government Model pistols.
