In "SAFE" position the trigger is blocked. The Magnum Research USA SP-21 was ergonomically designed for enable rapid accurate and instinctive shooting. The combat style trigger guard is designed for two-handed shooting. A polymer serrated, cocking grip was designed for positive comfortable operation. The pistol is equipped with a decocking mechanism. A reversible magazine catch can be assembled either for left or right hand user. The frame has an integral MIL-STD 1913 rail, for electro-optic devices. There is a lot of information on the internet pertaining to this gun and its history. Simply search for "Magnum Research SP-21". Dimensions: Overall Length 7.4", Height 5.4", Width 1.3", Barrel Length 3.9", Trigger Reach 2.8", Sight Line Radius 5.5". The weight with unloaded magazine is 1.825 lbs and 2.25 lbs loaded. Magnum Research USA 2003 Limited Production IMI SP-21 9mm from the original owner. The gun is beautifully clean and as new. I shot the gun twice at the range brand new in 2003 by putting a box of 250 Remington 9mm Lugar and a few Extreme Shock rounds through the barrel. This is a very smooth shooter and it feels terrific. It is weighted and balanced for quick and accurate shooting. This was a hot collectors gun even at the time it was imported to the US market by IMI and distributed by Magnum Research MN. The buyer will receive one IMI SP-21 semi-automatic double action pistol 9x19mm including a brand new original box (that was purchased separately from Magnum Research) and the original instruction manual. The original package included two 15 round magazines, a trigger locking key, and the "first test shot" original 9mm casing. The package also includes 3 additional magazines. That's five total OEM Magnum Research IMI 15 round 9mm magazines in this package. In addition to the gun and 5 magazines, the buyer will get the original Made in Israel complete Fobus holster set. Fobus, a major supplier of military products in Israel had a military/police line of holsters manufactured specifically for this gun. They are all included in this package and are brand new never used (see photos). Fobus holsters and mag pouches are made of high density polymers which are exceptionally comfortable, lightweight and extremely durable. They are manufactured in Israel and were imported directly from Fobus. The buyer will receive one belt holster, one belt 2 magazine holder, one thigh holster with the additional rotating paddle holster (see photos). Disassembly/assembly and thorough cleaning is very easy and demonstrated very clearly in the included instruction manual. This gun was cleaned right after returning from the range the two times it was fired. Once disassembled all the parts and finer internal areas are very easy to access and clean. The magazines are also very easy to clean. The included instruction manual has very easy to understand steps in cleaning. Always read the instructions before operating and cleaning the gun. There is a note etched into the gun itself indicating that you should not shoot this gun until the instructions have been read.
