Made in 1949, serial 80208 wears a 26-inch barrel with fixed choke (M). DIMENSIONS: Weight is 5.8 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.65 inches to the end of the wood. CONDITION: The subject of a complete restoration, the bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are solid (no play in barrel-to-action fit, action tight, trigger and safety crisp). Metal finish is at least 90 percent, with a few scattered freckles and spots of rubbing or tarnish. The left rear of the receiver has three extra holes. The primary barrel markings are slightly softened. A second set of barrel markings appear just below the first, these ghosted to the point they are only visible under directional light. Those markings match and essentially align, other than the choke being "Full". Wood is nearly pristine, although the butt plate is undersized and appears to be warped. Identity of the stockmaker is unknown. The price is firm and layaway is available.
