FN BROWNING M1922 - RARE NAZI COMMERCIAL.MODEL with HOLSTER Guns > Pistols > Browning Pistols > Other Autos
Description: Very nice condition FN Browning model of 1922 pistol, caliber 7.65mm (32 ACP), produced for the commercial markets, and also sold to German officers (who were required to wear a sidearm as part of their uniforms). GI bring back, not import marked.

Known as the commercial variation and is one of the rarest of the German Nazi occupied Belgium produced pistols. Since the German Nazi armed forces were pushed out of Belgium by allied forces in late 1944, these were probably part of the last produced under German occupation, and is so marked with waffenamts on the left of the frame, left on the slide, right on the chamber, and eagle WaA 140 acceptance stamp on the chamber, and last, designating the rarest of the Belgium occupied Nazi produced M1922's, the commercial variation, the RARE TRIANGLE MARK on the back of the frame (as well as the phosphated magazine). Research has determined there are very few known according to PISTOLS OF THE WEHRMACHT, and other research indicates that perhaps between 1000 and 2000 were produced. Matching serial numbers. Slide is marked:

FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL BELIQUE and BOWNINGS PATENT DEPOSE.

The bluing is thinning but good, showing holster wear. Has it's original factory phosphate finish FN Browning marked magazine (holds 8 + 1 in the chamber).

With the pistol is a second Browning marked magazine as well as excellent condition military black leather holster, believed to be Dutch, or possibly French and could have been used by their military or police forces during or after the war. The holster was specifically made for the FN Browning M1922 pistol. A spare striker/firing pin is also included which has been fitted and is fully functional.

Has a grip safety as well as a safety on the left side of the frame which locks into the slide. The 4-1/2” barrels are in excellent condition with excellent rifling.

Gun functions just great. Have fired it several times, and it feeds and performs flawlessly and is accurate at the distances it was designed for, with all 9 rounds striking center mass of a man sized target.

This a great addition to a collection and an opportunity to obtain a rare variation of German Nazi firearm production in Nazi occupied Europe during the second world war.

All firearms laws must be adhered to (buyers responsibility to know their local firearms laws), ships only to your FFL dealer for legal transfer, and is also C&R eligible and can be shipped directly to a holder of a C&R collectors license.
