SN 9410. Civil war era rifle. WOW ! Perfectly Rifled Mirror Bore ! 21 1/2" barrel. This rifle is in GREAT condition for its age. Not perfect, but BEAUTIFUL ! Strong Case hardening. Blueing still remains but with speckling. Screws unbuggered. Wood is very nice for an antique of this age with worst of flaws being some chipping at toe near butt plate and very small chipped out piece on forearm near receiver. Inspectors mark still immaculate on left side of stock. Butt plate patina'd with some rust near toe, but far from bad. Seems to be perfect mechanically. Like I said before, Bore perfect. Looks as if this rifle never saw much more than a collectors safe it's entire life. VERY RARE FIND ! Especially in this condition ! Will do my best to answer any further questions.
