It was sold to a police agency, but never issued. For unknown reasons, it was then sold to a gun wholesaler and here it is being sold well under the Manufacture's Suggested Retail Price. You can't go wrong, it's new and at an excellent price!!! This version of the M&P-40 comes with an external safety, manufacture scue #150920. It's ambidexerous so both left and right hand shooters will be comfortable with this model. The magazine release can be switched to either side and the sear can be dropped with a lever so you don't have to pull the trigger to disassemble this gun. Finally, it has a magazine disconnect so when the magazine is removed, you can't fire the gun. This gun is ultra safe and well thought out.
