Serial number appears on the action, rear sight (2x), bolt body, shroud, safety, cocking piece,bolt release and bottom metal (2x). Other markings include Waffenamts, along with "ch" on barrel, "1", "bcd" and "43" on front ring and a "d" on the bottom metal. Barrel is 24 inches long. CONDITION: Bore shows very light and uniform roughness, but remains wonderfully shootable. Metal finish is about 65%, with some thinning and browning, in particular around the rear sight and muzzle.
