I was told the trigger and hammer are both real GOLD but I can not guarantee that. This work was done by C&R Specialty in Kansas City, MO back in the 1970s. C&R has been closed for many years now. I had purchased then gun from a friend who was dying some years ago. He had purchased the gun new, and had the work done on it. He told me that he only fired it one time. It is really a BEAUTIFUL gun. I never had the heart to fire it. It is so nice it should be really be displayed.
