Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: 3 Days Description: Offered for sale is a very nice modern hammer shotgun by Vincenzo Bernardelli. The locking mechanism is extremely strong due to it's two bottom lugs plus an extra "bite" and cross-bolt on the top rib extension. The 29-1/2" barrels have a tapered solid rib with single gold bead. 2-3/4" chambers, and fixed chokes of Imp Mod and Full. The gun was proofed in 1966, so one could assume 1966 is also the year of manufacture. Other features include rebounding hammers, dual triggers, and extractors. The lightly figured English buttstock and splinter forend are finely checkered and have an oil finish. LOP is 13-1/2" and 14-1/2 over a professionally installed 15/16" Kick-Eez pad. The receiver, sidelocks, and hammers are color case hardened. The remaining metal parts are deep blue. Empty weight is 7lbs 4oz. The gun seems to have had limited use as evidenced by very tight lockup and some stiffness when opening. Overall the gun is in 98 to 99% condition. The wood and metal both have a few very minor handling marks. Also, on the forward edges of the receiver there are some bright areas where the case colors are worn, perhaps from carrying.
