Model 64s were made for deer hunters and this one did its job extremely well, harvesting Bucks in Wisconsin, Colorado and Wyoming. The rich, original blue covers about 99.9% of the barrel, receiver and magazine tube. The screws are perfect and the gun has never been taken apart. The wood has never been refinished, has a few tiny handling dings, and is "proud". The receiver sight is the famous Lyman #56 and draws a fine sharp bead. It originally belonged to an old Schlitz Brewery worker who sold it to me so he could take a trip to his home in Germany. It became my favorite hunting rifle.
