If you have ever wanted a Luger to actually shoot and use, here it is. This pistol is in perfect shooting condition with a sharp bore and crown. It is NOT a perfect "safe queen" that costs a small fortune, it is a used pistol that should continue to be used. The barrel date is 1916. All other parts are marked 5594. They all match and there are no mismatched parts other than the magazines (2 included) which are of current production. They seem to be high quality and reliably feed hollow-point ammo, although I don't know the manufacturer. The pistol functions properly and is (at least to me) surprisingly accurate. The book value of the gun is $1225 for an 80% piece and this one is in better condition than that. It has some finish wear, but is beautiful for being 100 years old with use! There is no pitting or rust of any kind and the bore is perfect. I am pricing it to quickly sell and reasonable offers will be accepted.
