Construction is steel barrel, bolt, magazine tube, trigger, and internal parts, in a light weight alloy receiver with polymer safety button and trigger housing. Receiver is drilled for optics mounts, Weaver #88 or 417 series. Type is dual system self regulating gas operated semi-automatic shotgun. Chambering is for any 12 gauge shell, except NO slugs. This 935 handles 2 3/4 inch, 3 inch and 3 1/2 inch magnums interchangeably. Capacity is 5 + 1 on 2 3/4 inch; 4 + 1 on 3 inch; or 3 + 1 on 3 1/2 inch loads. Magazine extensions are readily available and easily installed. Barrel is NON Ported 28 inch Back Bored Accu-Mag, no Slugs and so marked, and it comes with a factory Accu-Mag® tube, .740 vicinity Modified at the muzzle end. Sight system is a 12 post .375 serrated Ventilated Rib, .20 above the barrel at midsection, with green fiber optic front sight mounted on the rib. The barrel is NOT Ported. Safety is classic Mossberg top tang style; and the .250 smooth face blue steel trigger pulls at 5 pound vicinity with minimal felt creep. Length of pull is 14 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 7/8 inch black factory recoil pad. Weight empty is 7 3/4 pounds, with center of gravity at the back of the forend. 49 inches is overall length. Stock and forend are graphite based synthetic, with lateral checkered surfaces. The letter U is factory stamped near its serial number. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint occasional edge wear or surface streaking.
