Rare Nazi Germany purchased Astra 900 Broomhandle, s/n 33110. This is one of the 1050 Astra 900 pistols delivered to the German army in 1943, making it one of the rarest Nazi foreign contract procured pistols. The pistol was lightly used, but it is in top collector condition -- It has 98% original finish, all matching numbers, and mint bore. Background: Totally 1050 Astra 900 pistols were delivered to German Army in France on March 23, 1943. The pistols do not bear any German army acceptance marks. The Wehrmacht procurement Astra 900 is solely identified by serial number. These serial numbers are: s/n 29555 to 29600 (46 pistols), s/n 29649 to 29650 (2 pistols), s/n 29655 to 29660 (6 pistols), s/n 29667 to 29675 (9 pistols), s/n 32788 to 33774 (987 pistols), Total = 46 + 2 + 6 + 9 + 987 = 1050 pistols. In general, Astra 900 is not a common pistol. Fewer than 21000 Astra 900s were made from 1928 to 1944. Among this small production volume, only 5% were German army procurement pistols. This particular one was made in 1940. Shipping to C&R or FFL. 3-day non-firing inspection policy. Condition: Used, Minor Wear Caliber: .30 Cal.
