Serial 4828 wears 27.75-inch barrels choked M/F. The matted rib has a single brass bead and chambers are 2.75 inches. Features include ejectors, mechanical safety, side clips and side plates. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.4 pounds, length-of-pull is 15.1 inches, drops are 1.75 and 3.2 inches, and cast off is approximately .40-inch. CONDITION: Barrels are on face and bores are bright. A small ding in the left barrel (9 o'clock, 8 inches from muzzle) has been removed and now appears as a faint shadow line in the bore. Refreshed barrel blue is about 80 percent. The action has silvered and the recolored side plates show about 60 percent. Overall wood condition is at least 80 percent, with viable checkering and a chip at the heel. The butt checkering is well worn at the edges. Initials "AM" (metal inlay) appear not the forend diamond. CASE: A lockable leather takedown case with three-piece wood cleaning rod and brushes is in very good condition. The same initials already cited are embossed into the outer lid.
