From an extensive Chicagoland Collection come these 3 extended capacity magazines for the Springfield Armory XD40 Compact or Sub Compact Pistol with double staggered magazines, the XD40C or XD40SC. They will also fit the sparsely produced XD357C pistols. Manufacturer is HS Product of Karlovac, Croatia, the manufacturer of the pistols themselves. Importer and warrantor is Springfield Armory of Geneseo, Il. Construction is one piece folded steel body, with full length tig welded backs, smooth milled with round count perforations on the backs. Springs and inner plates are steel; cartridge follower, floor plate, and grip adapters are all black polymer. Owners who also have full sized XD40 pistols may remove the slide-on adapters for standard service capacity .40 magazines. Each magazine, then, holds 12 rounds of .357 Sig or .40 S&W Ammunition. Finish is polished surface stainless, with smooth milled backs and with stippled surface polymer. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate, principally lateral insertion and ejection streaks. We rate them as Excellent Condition, we estimate none of these magazines were fired more than 100 times. Replacement pricing on springfield-armory com is $40 apiece.
