Manufacturer was Akkar Silah Sanayi Ltd. of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer was Samco Global Arms, Inc. / SGAI of Miami, the Charles Daly Importer from 2012 until 2015. From its 10 serial number prefix, this one was manufactured in 2010, so it is a pre-Daly. Action is double slide bar pump shotgun, Benelli Nova type. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, levers, and internal parts, built into a light weight alloy receiver, with Turkish Walnut stock and forend, and with polymer trigger housing assembly. Chambering is 28 gauge, and 2 3/4 inch shells is all there is. Barrel is 26 inch threaded for standard Beretta Mobil Choke 28 gauge tubes. Tube Furnished is .527 Full, Extended Stainless, not intended for use with steel shot or rifled slugs. Bore is standard diameter, non back bored, and chrome lined. Sight system is 7 post, .2375 wide Vent Rib that sits .21 inch above the barrel at mid section. Front sight conventional brass bead that mates with the serrated receiver top. Magazine tube is 13 inch open end with spring retainer, holds 5 rounds of 2 3/4 inch, 28 gauge shells, the only length there is. Operators of Italian shotguns and their clones often figure out how to rest a ghost round on the shell carrier. The .220 smooth faced trigger pulls single stage at 6 pounds vicinity with moderate felt creep but minimal overtravel. Safety is push button type for right handed shooter, behind the trigger, gunsmith reversible. Forend is semi beavertail fluted top forward, with dual lateral cut panels. Length of pull is 14 1/8 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 1/2 inch recoil pad. Stock drop is 1 1/2 at the comb and 2 1/2 inches at the heel with 3/4 inch right handed cant. Weight empty is 5 pounds, 10 ounces, with center of gravity at the breech face. Finish is Matte Surface Blued Barrel, Magazine, Cap, and Trigger; with Matte Surface Black Anodized Receiver; plain oil finish Stock and forend; with dark oxide carrier and bolt. Lettering is roll stamped on the barrel and inked on the receiver. Surface detractions are negligible. We rate this Daly as Excellent in Box, perhaps near mint, 95 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We do not believe this shotgun was ever loaded or fired. It comes in its original box with instruction manual and protective papers.
