It's an Underwood manufactured rifle given a high polish blued finish and set into a high gloss Mannlicher style stock. The rifle is mechanically sound but it does show a little cosmetic staining on the bolt and some scuffs on the woodwork.(see pics) The bore has strong rifling and just needs a bit of a scrub to get it back up to snuff. Like all M1 Carbines, this svelte little shooter is incredibly lightweight and handy with excellent ergonomics. Combine those attributes with modern defensive ammunition and you will have a great little carbine for recreation or defense! This rifle comes with two 10 round magazines. No factory box or papers.
