They are built to the same standard as the RPK style machine guns, a Vepr rifle is 50% more reinforced than a standard stamped AK rifle. The RPK-style barrels are hammer forged and chrome lined using techniques that make them four to five times stronger than a standard AK or RPK barrel. These guns are imported from Russia and they are manufactured at the famous MOLOT factory. MOLOT has been building firearms for over 50 years.
