This listing is a lightly used Sig Sauer P229R pistol chambered in the awesome .357 Sig caliber. The P229 is Sig's medium sized model intended for duty/tactical use. This pistol has a clean and shiny 3.8" barrel over a full size frame that features an accessory rail and houses a 12 round magazine. The .357 Sig cartridge is one of the highest velocity modern tactical pistol cartridges on the market. It often produces velocities significantly higher than its namesake, the .357 magnum, nominally launching 125gr bullets at 1350 fps! This particular pistol shows very minor firing wear and even less finish wear but is missing the one of the grip panel screws. (see pic) For someone looking for the Ferrari of duty/tactical/sporting pistols, this lightly used and reasonably priced Sig is an awesome choice! This pistol comes with two 12 round magazines, an extra factory barrel chambered in .40 S&W, and the factory box and papers.
