Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: No Returns Description: This is an early serial numbered SMITH & WESSON MODEL 25-2 in .45 ACP with VERY light use - and VERY well cared for. It is one of a battery of three S&W revolvers owned by a retired officer for many years as a formal Bullseye competition (Rimfire-Centerfire-.45ACP) gun. Serial number in the N316xxx range. This gun features the original Target Trigger, Target Hammer and Magna grips. Target grips are included; 6.5" barrel is pinned; Red ramp added to front sight. COMES IN THE S&W FACTORY faux velvet-lined WOODEN CASE, with papers. Condition is excellent mechanically and superior cosmetically, showing about 99% bluing, with no marks or dings. No wear to the cylinder or bore. Cylinder is tight and trigger pull is very smoooooth on both Double and Single action. Positive hammer fall. Cylinder indexes perfectly. This is an excellent Model 25-2 which had a reputation for accuracy and smooth action. In it's day, it was a viable Bullseye contender for the .45 ACP stage - and still is. Fires .45 ACP with moon clips or .45 Auto Rim. Rear sight has been replaced with an AUSTIN BEHLERT ADJUSTABLE COMPETITION REAR SIGHT - and action job.
