Beautiful condition with excellent finish both on the metal and the stock. Stock has the DOD cartouche and a P stamped in the wrist, stock has a few dings fewer than most.. Finding a Garand with the correct period stock is rare these days. Barrel is a SA10-55 which is correct for this serial number. Barrel readings by the CMP are throat 2 and the muzzle 1, which means a new or hardly shot barrel. Included cmp paper work. You could shoot this rifle for the rest of your life and never wear it out.
