From a brand new Mossberg factory combo pack comes this Mossberg Slug Barrel that will fit any 12 gauge Model 535 shotgun. Barrel Manufacturer is O.F. Mossberg of Torreon, Mexico, the facility where most of the company’s barrels have been made for the past 25 years. Importer and Warrantor is O.F. Mossberg & Sons of New Haven, CT, and Eagle Pass, Texas. Apart from the alloy factory Williams sights, construction is entirely steel. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch, 3 inch, and 3 1/2 inch shells interchangeably. Finish is semi gloss blue. Sight system is 700 type Williams, with a front sight that sits on a welded steel base with brass tipped blade; and a windage and elevation adjustable three piece rear, with black semi buckhorn rear blade. Bore is six groove right hand 1:36 rifled, specifically for lead slug hunting. It will digest most any kind of shot, since the muzzle diameter is .725 Cylinder bore; the rifling, however, will adversely affect the shot pattern. This slug barrel is NOT back bored like its 835 mates, so slugs are okay. This barrel will fit any Mossberg model 535 shotgun, but no others. It will not fit any model 500. It will not fit any model 835 Mossberg. It will not fit the dump lever of a 1947 John Deere Manure Spreader. It will only fit Mossberg 535 series pump or slide action shotguns. Each barrel is brand new and unfired, with original factory protective lubricant. We removed it from a brand new Mossberg 535 combo pack shotgun’s box.
