It's performance in the field is stellar. An 87 grain spitzer bullet leaves the barrel at 3400 fps. and is still flying at 2473 fps at 400 yards. Energy at the muzzle is 2259 ft-lbs and only falls to 1195 ft-lbs at 400 yards. If sighted in at 200 yards, at 400 yards the bullet will drop only 15.1 inches. This accurate caliber provides solid reach at distance for coyotes and fox. The rifle was mounted by my gunsmith in a Bell and Carlson fiberglass stock with a desert tan camo pattern, and it has a 24" matte factory barrel, both of which hide the rifle in the field. Included with the rifle are a new Redding Deluxe Die Set (3 dies), Talley lightweight alloy 1" low ringmounts, and a custom RifleBasix hunting trigger. Less than 50 factory rounds have been fired through the rifle after barrel break-in. This rifle is in excellent condition with no marks on the barrel or stock. The shipping cost is $25.00.
