Up for sale from my personal collection. One of my first big game rifles purchased some time ago. Winchester Model 70 chambered in the Great 300 Winchester Magnum. My rifle dates from very early 1964. Serial number suggests it was made during the era of the retooled post 64 rifles. 

Please don't compare this rifle with the great Pre 64 Winchesters. This rifle should be considered an extremely good hunting rifle made by a great manufacturer, Winchester. 

The walnut shows machine pressed checkering that is free from any cracks or splits, the bluing does show some ware consistent with its age and use in the field. The 24" barrel retains sharp and defined rifling. The bolt is now push feed and it remains very smooth and slick chambering rounds. The rifle performs well with no issues at all. This rifle is chambered in the powerful 300 Winchester Magnum most suited for big game long range shooting.
