Fine line crack on the right side of the stock coming off the buttplate with a compartment which fades out. Has an original carbine 22” barrel with original sights, buffington rear C marked, has proof markings. The receiver has a US Model 1873 marked bolt and the receiver has the serial#124226 mfg’d 1879. The lockplate has an excellent US Springfield and Eagle marking.
