It is black with checkering panels on the grip and forend. The exterior of the stock is like new, no scratches or dings of any kind. The barrel channel was enlarged to accommodate and free floated a med. magnum barrel. No other modifications have been made to the stock. The front trigger guard interior screw channel is chipped away. The stock would need to be glass bedded to fit a rifle action.
