This listing is for the exact pistol in the photos. It’s brand new, but it’s one we didn’t know we had. Beretta’s PX4 Storm Compact made its debut in Las Vegas at the 2012 SHOT Show. Manufacturer is Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta S.p.A. of Gardone, Italy. Importer and warrantor is Beretta USA of Accokeek, MD and Gallatin, TN. Type is traditional single and double action, cam system breech lock, semi automatic compact pistol. Construction is steel barrel, slide, and working parts fitted into a steel reinforced polymer frame. Chambering, of course, is 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, 9mm NATO, call it what you will, THE 9mm. Barrel is 3 1/4 inch chrome lined, six groove rifling with 1:9.84 twist rate. Slide is flat top contoured, with serrations fore and aft. Guide rod is full length alloy. Sights are dovetailed front and rear, 3 white dot configuration. Frame is rail type, with single slot, center groove Picatinny for light attachment. Trigger is .400 smooth faced polymer with steel core. Travel distance is 1 1/8 inches; single action is two stage 5 1/2 pounds with moderate felt creep and extensive overtravel; double action pull is consistent 11 pound vicinity. Slide stops and main safety / decockers are fully ambidextrous, and the magazine release is user reversable like the parent 92 pistols. Grip frame is modular, and the PX4F comes with two replacement back strap pieces for customizing grip frame circumference. Hammer is .300 skeletonized short serrated spur. Magazines are both factory Beretta, serrated side steel with flat floorplates. Each holds 15 rounds of ammunition, so fully loaded capacity is 15 + 1. Full size PX4 magazines will work in this compact. Overall length is 6 3/4, by 5 1/8 inch height, with frame thickness of 1.20 at the ejection port. Weight empty is 26 5/8 ounces, with center of gravity at the stop pivot. Finish is non glare weather resistant Brunitron. This PX4 Compact comes in its blue factory case with Italian Labeled box sleeve; with cleaning kit, protective paper, owner’s manual, factory registration papers, inspector’s tag, total of two magazines, two backstrap pieces and their spacers; loading tool, and factory blue cable lock.
