Escheverria, Eibar-Espana, S.A.) semi-automatic pistol in the popular .380 ACP (9 mm Browning Short)caliber. The safety lever is behind the trigger, with a hinge under the left grip panel with a red dot to fire. The serial number is 9829XX. Like new condition with the original clear plastic box and papers & grips, this is collector grade only, and in our opinion a shame to shoot, but certainly a great little concealed defense weapon. A 99% plus condition pistol. The quality of this pistol can be reflected in that in the middle 1970s, the great US gun maker Colt decided to partner with Star instead of making their very own gun. The gun (that would be called the Pony) was to be assembled in the US, presumably by Colt, from a Star DK slide & associated internals, with a U.S. made frame. This is a special firearm that has been kept in excellent condition. We feel you'll appreciate it's beauty and new-looking appearance and the quality of a Spanish gunmaker that Colt would select that has been in business for centuries.
