Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: No Returns Description: This is an interesting rifle. The receiver is marked Winchester MODEL 1892 and the barrel is marked Winchester MODEL 65 .25-20 WCF. There is a Williams peep sight installed. The condition is either very well preserved or refinished. If it were refinished it was a heck of a good job. The bore is shiny and sharp. The trigger pull is smooth and crisp. I suspect a factory re-barrel job or a custom order from Winchester on a Model 1892 (1), as the model 65 was made between 1933 and 1947 and was available in .25-20WCF. Depending on its pedigree the guns "books" for between $3000 and $4000. I suspect the multiple markings, although original, will reduce the value. It's up to you, what you think its worth. It is a very nice gun, no matter what! We prefer to ship USPS, in a hard case, ($23.00 extra, which is our cost), to protect valuable firearms, insured and an adult signature required.
