WWII BYF 41 marked PO8 German Luger pistol chambered in 9mm. This pistol appears to be 100% matching and correct as issued. All of the visible numbers on the metal parts are "77". This pistol is from the serial block range that would have the black plastic bottom FXO magazine & wood grips as original. The pistol dry functions well with no apparent problems. The metal surfaces show most of the original bluing with some loss on the higher points and mechanical parts consistent with use and being slid in and out of a holster. The pistol's magazine does have a piece of the plastic missing, which can be easily replaced as these spare parts are available if one were to chose to fix it. The bore has some shine with strong rifling. This pistol would make an excellent addition to anyone's WWII or Luger collection.
