It is very similar to the Russian Saiga 12 and the Russian VEPR 12 shotguns. The Catamount Fury II factory gas system has an external adjustment for both high brass and low brass 12 gauge shotgun shells (the manufacturer specifies a minimum of 1 1/8 ounce lead shot loads). It is chambered to accept both 2-3/4" and 3" magnum shells. It has a bolt hold open button that is conveniently located in front of the trigger guard, plus the bolt stays open after the last round is fired. The receiver top cover is hinged for ultimate stability, and has a built in weaver/picatinny rail for mounting optics and sights. The Catamount Fury II comes with three choke tubes; cylinder bore, modified, and full choke. The stock adapter system includes the following: custom machined aluminum stock adapter; aluminum 6-position buffer tube; castle nut; locking ring; M4 style lightweight polymer butt stock; Hogue AK47 rubberized ergonomic pistol grip; Allen bolt for stock adapter; Allen bolt for pistol grip. When assembled, the stock adapter system simply inserts into the rear receiver trunnion and bolts on- it is that simple. Since the adapter components are all made from machined aluminum, they are heavy duty and built to withstand 12 gauge recoil punishment. If you can operate an Allen wrench, you can install this with ease! We also offer an OPTIONAL muzzle break that simply screws into your Catamount Fury muzzle. Since it is welded to an original Catamount Fury choke tube, it just screws right in. The optional muzzle break sells for $49, with s&h included to the lower 48.
