This fine shotgun has the customary Parker engraving on the color case hardened steel receiver. A pointer is in the right, a setter in on the left and two pheasants rising in flight are on the bottom. All of these are surrounded by fine foliate scroll engraving which continues to the blued trigger guard, the extra long tang, the forend latching hardware andd the skeletal butt plate. The straight grip English stock and the splinter forearm are of highly figured, flame pattern, dark California walnut. This gun comes with a like new, lockable, Parker take-down case complete with canvas travel cover. The barrels retain 98% of their original blue with some thinning at the muzzle and no scratches. The receiver shows some wear of the color at the break point and around the operating lever. The bores are mirror bright & the action is tight. The stock & forearm have no scratches or dings and are in mint condition with beautiful, high-gloss finish and sharp, clean checkering.
