From what we have been able to find, there were only about 50 of these rifles produced as a Featherweight in Stainless and 308 Win. as most of them were in blue. This rifle was held back by an old gun shop owner for his own collection and kept in a climate controlled vault. It was the best of multiple rifles, all the same, and so he mounted what he felt was the appropriate scope in Talley lightweight rings. The scope is a Leupold FX-II 4X33mm (Model # 58550) with the wide duplex. The rifle has never been fired and the scope is only bore sighted. If you do not wish to buy the scope and rings; and only want the rifle, the scope will be removed and the price can be reduced by $295.00.
