Photos show one of only five identical specimens we were able to get. Here is Charter’s Pink Lady variant of its Undercover Lite series of lightweight revolvers. Manufacturer and warrantor is Charter Arms of Shelton, Connecticut. Factory number is 53830. Type is traditional double and single action pocket revolver with transfer bar internal safety device. Construction is steel barrel, cylinder, yoke, pin, hammer, trigger, and internal parts combined with an alloy main frame and grip frame / trigger guard. Caliber is .38 Smith & Wesson Special, standard or +P, with 5 round cylinder capacity. Barrel is one piece full lug 2 inch, with eight groove 1:18 rifling. Sights are barrel integral ramp front on a solid rib, with frame integral fixed notch rear. Trigger is .312 serrated face, with matching short serrated spur hammer. Trigger pull will be 12-14 pound vicinity on double action, and 4 pound vicinity single action, and Charters are not always smooth pullers. Grips are factory issue thin finger groove combat type. Finish is satin stainless on the cylinder, yoke, thumb latch, hammer, and trigger; with Pink Anodized main frame finish, and coated white alloy grip frame / trigger guard. Weight empty is 14 ounces, with center of gravity at the cylinder stop. This Charter and its mate come to us from Charter’s distribution system. They are what we call factory demos, and likely served as sales reps’ or writers’ samples. Surface detractions are negligible, only faint rotation marking and carbon on no more than 3 positions on the forward cylinder face. We rate them as Excellent, perhaps Near Mint in Box, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. If any were ever fired, it was no more than the original 3 test fire rounds at the factory. Each Pink Lady comes in its original box with instruction manual, parts list, Charter Decal, gun lock, YHSA brochure, and never executed factory registration form with Charter lifetime warranty statement.
