We are offering for sale a Remington Woodmaster 742 chambered in .308 Win caliber. This is a scarce caliber for this model rifle. Rifle is in very good, about 97% overall.
22” barrel is very good retaning 98% of its original bluing with some light, scattered wear. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Receiver is also very nice, in 97% condition with some wear along the semi-auto bolt track. Detachable magazine included. Receiver has been fitted with a Redfield 4X scope. Semi-auto action works flawlessly. Glossed walnut stock and fore-end are in exceptional condition showing little to no wear. Stock is fitted with an unbranded leather sling.
