This is a stainless steel frame and melonite finish and is a really solid gun. I bought this from my police buddy who kept this in his safe. He said it was one of only few left that Smith made in this particular combination of frame and finish. It is a model SW1911 but has all the features of a SW1911PD only this gun is stainless steel instead of scandium. I have added the FDE Houge finger mold grips but also have the original stock grips. I will include 5 Wilson Combat mags which have worked 100% flawlessly in this gun. There are 2 10 round mags and three 8 round. I have run hollow point and ball ammo mainly by Speer and Winchester and have had zero malfunctions that aren't operator induced. The feed ramp and all pins and sliding parts have been polished but no other modifications have been made. This weapon runs very smooth and slick. I also have a Blackhawk Serpa holster to include that has been painted tan to match the grips.
